For your next book-sharing project, capitalize on the popularity of scrapbooking! Have each child or small group of students design a scrapbook about a book’s main character. Explain that the first page should show an illustration of and include important information about the chosen character. Require the remaining pages to focus on the character’s interests or traits and the important events the character experiences (arranged in sequential order). Whether the scrapbooks are simple or elaborate, the final results will be fun to share!
Here are some of the items that you will need:
- a book
- a scrapbook ( You can make your own out of card stock.)
- glue
- scissors
- scrapbook paper
- Washi Tape. ( I love this stuff, you need to check out the coasters and cover for my iPhone charger I made with this.)
