Excerpt from chapter twenty-two:

I ran my fingers across her bronze stomach and grasped her tight waist, “All of that aside, your old man seems like a good guy,” I said. “He might have some fucked up thoughts after a few decades of homicides and rapes, but who wouldn’t?”

He’d tell you otherwise though. Fiona leaned forward and dove into a relentless kiss that seemed to last days. I was suddenly consumed by the smell of her perfume, the brush of wild red hair on my cheek and the weight of her breasts on my chest. She pulled away—all too soon.
