Stimulate Your Child’s Love of Reading With Bookroo

When things like video games, television, and the Internet are clamoring for your child’s attention, how do you get them excited about reading? Living in a studio in New York City, Tiffany, and her husband had their first son. To prepare for the baby, Tiffany picked out five books – classics, like Goodnight Moon and The Very Hungry Caterpillar – and remembered thinking, “Five books for a newborn? That’s a lot!” However, the couple started reading the books to their little one every day – reading and re-reading them. After while they realized, we need some more books!

With a desire to grow their library, they quickly discovered it was harder than they thought. There weren’t many bookstores in an easy, walking distance and a trip to the bookstore with a baby wasn’t exactly ideal, so they turned to online sources. Eventually she realized, there had to be a better way to build her son’s library without this much hassle, yet still be sure to get great quality books.

Teaming up with her sisters-in-law Jane and Rebecca, the three of them set out to build Bookroo to meet that exact need: to make it easy for parents and magical for kids to fall in love with reading, and consistently grow their home library!
