Stacie Davis, a young reporter from Boston, is sent to Cape Cod to report on the body of a woman found floating near the town of Chatham. It should be a simple story about an accidental drowning, but Stacie discovers that no one can identify the woman, nor has anyone reported a missing person. The fact that the body was found floating near a decommissioned lighthouse perplexes officials.

Her editors encourage her to dig into the mix of Chatham’s quirky residents and write about the mysteries surrounding the old Monomoy Point Lighthouse.
On a lark, she makes a nighttime visit to the lighthouse with a young charter boat captain and stumbles tragically into a dark mystery that forces her to question her sanity and the truth buried in a legend.
