Mankind has advanced technologically by leaps and bounds these last few years, before these advancements we used to be at the mercy of Mother Nature when concerned with natural disasters and weather patterns. But due to the advancements in technology, we can battle most of the things Mother Nature throws at us. By creating weather resistant materials, our constructions are able to withstand multiple weather changes, come sunshine or rain. One of these materials is the PVDF Coated ACP Material, but what is it you may ask? To understand this concept you must understand what ACP or Aluminum Composite Panel is.

In essence, it consists of two aluminum sheets bonded together by a Polyethylene sheet, aluminum is a light material and in order to enhance its durability and rigidness it is joined together with another aluminum sheet and bonded together with a polyethylene sheet in the middle making one single sheet, creating a sandwich of sorts. This allows the material, called an Aluminum Composite Material, to retain its lightness and it becomes so strong that it is nearly impossible to break the bond between the layers. Aluminum Composite Panels are flexible, formable, compact and stable which allows them to be used in various applications but mostly they are used in architecture and designing. They are used in external and internal architectural cladding or partitions, false ceilings, signage, machine coverings, container constructions, etc. And PVDF or Polyvinylidene fluoride is a highly non-reactive thermoplastic fluoropolymer produced by polymerizing vinylidene difluoride, it is commonly used as insulation on electric wires because of its flexibility, low weight, low thermal conductivity and high corrosion resistance. Now coat this on the ACP material and we get one of the lightest, durable and weather resistant materials in existence. Their most common use is in signage as they make the perfect material to make signs placed outside. Signs made from this material will take a lot of punishment from nature, plus its light weight makes it the perfect candidate. Not only that, they are pretty easy to manufacture, install and maintain; there are many designs in which the PVDF Coated ACP Material comes. Depending on the manufacturer they are available in 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm of thickness. There are a number of applications for this material, such as constructional exterior curtain walls; Decorative renovation for storey-added old buildings; advertisement boards, shop face decorating, display platforms and signboards; Wallboard and ceilings for tunnels; The PVDF coated ACP Material is also an ideal raw material for an industrial purpose.

Though there are many other materials that may be lighter than the PVDF Coated ACP Material, they may not be that durable or may be more brittle like carbon fiber. In those cases, the coated ACP material outshines anything you pit it against. Easy to make, install and maintain with the feature of a long life; the PVDF Coated ACP material is the best of the light, durable and weather resistant materials on this planet that you will find.
