Recently I was given the opportunity to review the book Woof! by Robert Freeman. All opinions expressed are mine.

Before I get into my review here is a little bit about the book.

Review of Woof from North Carolina Book Blogger Reading with Frugal Mom

In Woof! A Love Story of Dogs, Music, and Life, Robert Freeman shares heartfelt stories of the 17 wonderful dogs that shared the 42 happy years he spent with his wife Carol.  Filled with beautiful photography, the book reflects on his marriage, his remarkable career in music, and the joy he and his wife received from the canine companions who accompanied them on their journey through life.

This book is a super cute book that details the many dogs that the author and his second wife adopted throughout their lifetime. The chapters are super short and the story is sweet. However sometimes it was hard to follow along. I felt myself thinking was he talking about a dog or a person. It does get a little bogged down when he attaches music to each of the dogs they encounter.

I would have loved to see clearly pictures of their fur babies. Most were blurry or like they were a photo copy of a photocopy? You know what I am talking about.

But besides all of this, it was still a very cute book that will tug at the heart of any fur baby lover.

My verdict- did I feel like I wasted my time reading this book? No, but I do wish that it was a little clearer as far as pictures go.

Interested in getting this book for the dog lover in your family? You can grab it on Amazon.
